BTC Monthly Track Meet

The BTC has a Mini Track meet the second Sunday of each month, weather permitting (not raining or temperature below 50 degrees at 12 noon the day of the meet). The meet starts at 2:30 PM.

Notes: The BTC Mini Track meets have returned to the Samford University track. [Google Map].

No charge. A family oriented meet. All ages, children and adults, male and female... Awards for the children.

The following events are offered: 50m, 100m, 400m and 1600m. Pole Vault and others events, if requested. We also have some fun relays. Join us!

BTC Classic

Note: The BTC Classic Track & Field Meet is scheduled for 06-10 at Hoover High School in Hoover. For more information contact Frank Newland (621-9912) or Gordon Seifert (879-8031).

Date: June 10, 2006

Time: First event starts at 7:00 AM

Entry Fees: $15 first event. $6 each additional event. $15.00 late fee if postmarked after June 5, 2005.

Awards: Medals to first three in each age group. Coach Bill McClure Trophy to top team score. Points will be 5-3-1, age graded for each event and relay. (The average age for the relay teams will determine the age factor taken from the 400m and 1600m table.)

Special Prizes:

• $100 KC 100m Dash (Top eight age graded times run a distanced handicapped 100m.)
• $100 Phil Mulkey Mini Decathlon Award. Enter as many decathlon events as you want and the your top five performances will be scored. Age graded. Each Age Graded event winner will receive a special award.
