The Peavine Falls Run is located in Oak Mountain State Park. This beautiful 8.2 mile out-and-back run starts at the Dogwood Pavilion and runs 3.5 miles to the Peavine Falls Parking lot. The return trip is on the same road but takes a scenic 1.2 mile single-track trail detour back to the picnic area.

BREAKING NEWS: The Peavine Falls Run has been named as the RRCA State Championship Race! This premiere event continues to grow and as a state championship race it will continue to do so. This also means there will be additional awards given at the event.

This race is designed to show our appreciation for BTC members, that is why the cost is only $15! This year the race will be bigger than ever. The race will be chip-timed and awards will be given to top 10 males and top 10 females.

The run is located in Oak Mountain State Park. This beautiful 8.2 mile out-and-back run starts at the Dogwood Pavilion and runs 3.5 miles to the Peavine Falls Parking lot. The return trip is on the same road but takes a scenic 1.2 mile single-track trail detour back to the picnic area. This is your chance to run this classic event on the 4th of July while less adventurous runners travel to Atlanta and "shuffle" through the Peachtree course with 50,000 other "joggers". To be guaranteed your shirt size you must register early. Please note that shirt sizes are gender specific.

The race begins at 7:00 am. Walkers are also welcome; they will have a 6:30 am start to give them a half hour lead on the running field.
