It's our 10th Annual Baby Steps Memorial Run and we would LOVE to have you join us!!!
The Annual Baby Steps Memorial Run is a family friendly event that allows grieving families and their friends to come together to remember their loved ones in a supportive, caring environment. All proceeds benefit The Amelia Center at Children's Hospital of Alabama. Registration for the 5K will now include chip timing! 5K participants have a chance to receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals and the chip timing will ensure accurate timing! We do not time the 1 mile fun run. However, we will provide a 1st place ribbon to the 1st 1 mile participant that crosses the finish line - all ages are welcome!

Deadline for memorial name submission was 9/1/18! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! We must allow enough time for printing materials!
Early packet pick-up will be at Trak Shak in Homewood on:
Wednesday, September 26th from 1pm - 6pm
Thursday, September 27th from 11am - 6pm
All participants registering by 9/15/18 are guaranteed FREE admission into the park, a race shirt, and swag bag! Anyone registering after this date is not guaranteed a race packet but will receive admission into the park.
Date: Saturday, September 29, 2018 (rain or shine)
Time: Race Day Packet Pick-up begins at 7am (early pick up will be available at Trak Shak)
5k begins at 8am / 1 mile begins at 8:15am

Prices: NEW FOR 2018: Participants can now join a team for both the 1 mile and 5k!
5k: $25-Early Registration OR $30 day of race
1 mile: $15-Early Registration OR $20 day of race
Children 5 and under “race” FREE with the paid registration of a parent. This does not mean they are registered and receiving a bib or shirt. Parents can purchase extra race shirts when registering if the child wishes to receive a shirt.
Door prizes, awards and more will follow the run!
All memorial names submitted by 9/1/18 (with paid registration) will be included in the race shirt design and will have a memorial sign at the run. Please note we will keep all memorial signs to use in future runs. This allows us to save costs on reprinting signs for those who participate each year.
